The incredible team at Emotech kindly got in touch with us to ask us to create content for their new innovation, Olly, the first home robot with an evolving personality that adapts to each individual.
We set out to make a film that could show a breadth of emotions in different scenes from a stern-teacher to a playful best friend. As Olly is designed to do more than just respond to commands it was important to succinctly show scenes that showed a diversity in character and setting but also to demonstrate that Olly learns and can proactively assist you in your day-to-day routine.
As one of the goals was to appeal to a crowdfunding audience, it had to capture their attention quickly and hold the viewer for 3 minutes to divulge the whole Olly and Emotech story. With Emotech already hitting their £100k goal in under 24hours, we can all agree the film did it’s job.
