Target asked us to produce a 40 second animation on the theme of ‘surprise and delight in red and white’. Our character’s jolly jaunt through a red and white wonderland will be shown on a gigantic screen at LA Live.
Concept, Direction & Production: Animade
Surprise & Delight in Red & White is a project powered by Target supporting the next generation of motion design artists from around the world.
Target partner with us and other established artists to help inspire up and coming motion designers/animators. We created a branded motion design piece based on their theme of Surprise & Delight in Red & White, to set the stage for an open call for emerging artists to then submit their work. An animation piece that features several comical and unexpected juxtapositions executed in a deceptively simple yet smart, signature style.
Idea, Direction & Production: Sebas and Clim
We worked with Target to build a wonderful world, representative of the phrase 'Surprise & Delight.' The piece is now airing in downtown Los Angeles at LA Live. If you're in the neighborhood or even across town, stop by and check it out.
JESS3’s longtime content partners at Mindjet wanted a carefully crafted visual story to complement their product relaunch. Partnering closely with Mindjet, JESS3 crafted a script that was not limited to one brand, one profession or even one industry. Building off the idea of "work inspired" JESS3 created a fantastical world to tell the story of a worn out worker in a growing, global environment.
Typesetter Blues is a 3-minute animated short starring a likeable monster named Harold. In this melancholy love story, Harold falls for a new coworker, who unfortunately falls harder for someone else.
Voiced by Canadian legend Gordon Pinsent (Away From Her, Pillars Of The Earth) Typesetter Blues is written in the nonsense poetry tradition of Edward Lear and Shel Silverstein.
Produced in partnership with our awesome friends at Varipix, Typesetter Blues is the first “chapter” in the silly rhyme collection “Beastly Bards”. It’s a finalist in the Adobe Design Achievement Awards (Animation) and also screened at TAAFI (Toronto Animation Arts Festival International).
