Concept artists, 3d modelers, software developers, projection specialists, copyrighters, stand designers, manufacturers, musicians, sound engineers, camera men, videographers, stylists, models, clients and plenty more all came together for what was one of the most challenging projects robotandspark, in conjunction with DejaVu, has ever taken on.
We were asked by Noor Islamic Bank to create something interesting for GITEX, to change peoples perceptions of Islamic banking and to highlight the fact that Noor is one of the most forward thinking and technologically sophisticated Islamic Banks in the region. We created "The Bank of the Future"; a fully interactive, 270 degree, 3D projection mapped environment, encased in a futuristic pod, controlled by a touch screen, featuring fingerprint recognition and all sorts of technical wizardry.
With the help of London based specialists, Projection Advertising, sound studio Mango Jam and Polish animators extraordinaire Juice, we gave users a glimpse into the future of banking - a virtual environment where they could view, find information and configure finance plans for a number of futuristic vehicles and properties, all at the touch of a button. The project was a massive success - so much so that the client has placed the experience as a permanent installation in their flagship branch on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, UAE.
