We shared an evening with critically-acclaimed New York artist Michael David in his studio in Atlanta, documenting his artistic process of pouring wax in three paintings. This exclusive behind-the-scenes short is a window to his art, his abstraction and his exploration with the medium... layer upon layer.

An informal look at my exhibition, "Containing Chaos" appearing at The Castle in Bude, Cornwall, UK. It utilises both gallery spaces: The Blanchminster Room from 24th April - 7th May, and the Willoughby Room from 24th April - 14th May 2015.
I wanted to document the exhibition for faraway friends and relatives, and it is my hope that this brings my current body of work to life for you.

American born, internationally-selling artist, Jen Dixon works mostly in mixed media abstract and figurative painting. Her paintings explore mental chaos and how it relates to emotion and relationships through shape and colour.
She is also an illustrator, writer, and teaches life-drawing. Originally from Indiana, she became a British citizen, and lives in a small village on the North Cornwall coast of England.
Having led her first art classes at the age of 6, she carried on with art throughout her school days by selling pencil portraits and sign-painting for local businesses. She taught art to young teens before achieving a degree in Industrial Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Jen has been a working muralist, corporate display artist for former national retail giant Musicland Group (US), and a commissions painter.
Jen’s art hangs in private collections around the world.
I talk a little about the process and inspiration for this recently finished painting, "Yes 15."
