It’s a good idea for everyone to add their own photo or avatar in their personal settings in itslearning. There are several places you can see people’s photos. For example, if you check who’s online, you can click on someone’s name and see their photo in their profile. You will also see it in discussion boards.
It just makes things more personal!

In this video, I’ll show you how to so this.
First you’ll have to find yourself! No kidding. Find your name in the top right and click on it. The personal menu will appear and you should select ”Your settings” from the dropdown.
On the Your settings page, click on Change details.
You’ll see a section called Picture file and a link that says upload. Click on it and then browse.
Select your photo and click open.
It will upload your file and then click save.
Important!! You must scroll down and save your new settings or the picture will not show up!
If you have a smart phone or a tablet, you may get the option to choose an existing photo from the camera roll or take a new one!
If you don’t want to use a real photo, many teachers and students love making their own custom avatars to upload. There are many sites available to do this. It’s a fun getting to know you activity!
