  3. This video shows an experimental 3D user interface using touchless gestural interaction in combination with physics simulation. The snowflakes will adjust size and perspective to the position of the viewer in the room. The snowflake can be rotated with single hand movements. New snowflakes can be generated using a two hand gesture.

The installation is mobile and can be put up everywhere in almost no time. The technological base is at the moment a 3D camera from MESA imaging, but it would work the same way with a Kinect controller (which I'm evaluating). The interface is a simple Unity3D program with a single 3D model which is animated using the integrated physics engine.

  4. This video shows my interactive installation at ETH library, Zurich CH. Using simple, touchless hand gestures, visitors can browse and zoom into precious books and images. This is a successor project of my bachelor thesis at the Zurich University of the Arts. More information: kai.jauslin.biz/gesturespace2
