Chinatown, once ablaze with neon signs has faded and sits amidst chaos of addiction and homelessness. I have grown in appreciation of the resilience of individuals and communities as they deal with personal hardship, economic and health struggles.
The landscape of the desert appears to be a monotonous one, but soon you discover that it is crawling with life and song. For many years I have separated myself from daily life by taking refuge in the desert.
