This is an abstract "homage" to the brilliant Lichtmond series of 3D CGI videos, from Germany. I needed a "cool down" song in my light / laser show, after a bang up style opening. with the re-mix of Mike Oldfield's far Above the Clouds. Only a slowly turning , green field star effect is used during the last half of the song. This video is a tribute to, and a pale comparison to the DVD that inspired it. If you have not seen either Lichtmond DVDs than look them up on the web or Facebook. Alan Parsons does music on the second one and the 3D effects are the best I've ever seen. It is now in a special showing in Munich, at a Planeterium, projected in all 360 degrees. THIS IS A FAN BASED VIDEO. Thanks to Morphyre for their great visualizer ( morphyre.com ) the kaliedescope effect can be applied to any screen!!! enjoy ... arkanjul
Another piece from my "Electronic memories" visualizer stage, to be viewed in 3D ( if possible ) and with lazers and lightshow. All visualizer graphics created in Morphyre ( morphyre.com ) , edited in Movie Studio 12 with New Blue and Pixelan effects. THIS IS A FAN BASED VIDEO!!! One of the first synth pieces I can recall an R&B artist do was Marvin Gaye's AFTER THE DANCE ( INSTRUMENTAL ). Back in the day it was something special, to me it still is. The cut is from the concept album I WANT YOU, which has inspired artists like Todd Rundgren and many more. Dedicated to dear Marvin, your music was so sweet.
Primavera means "Springtime" in Italian. For me this video was an affirmation of life during a time of someone close's passing. Shot on a small hand held Sony Hd camera in Morganton, North Carolina and in Cleveland , Ohio. Inspired by the lyrics in Todd Rundgren's BLUE OPHEOUS, " Somewhere there's love and perpetual spring, I know life is a wonderful thing". Music by Nick Wood for the anime' RG VEDA. Edited in Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11 with New Blue and Pixelan effects and dissolves.
This little gem is taken from the soundtrack of the movie THE COOLER. Mark Isham played the jazz trumpet over a bed of sounds he created in the studio. A beautiful, moving piece ! Graphics are generated with Vovoids VSX-u engine, three layers are chroma keyed over each other.
