1. VINYL TERROR & HORROR | multible deconstructed turntables and cut-up records
    vinylterrorandhorror.com

Vinyl Terror & Horror is a collaboration between Camilla Sørensen and Greta Christensen. "Our approach to music starts from a visual and sculptural practice. Turntable deconstruction and rearrangement of the vinyl media in all imaginative ways is an essential part of our music. We are working in the field of cinematic soundscapes with a high tolerance level of possible hi- fi disasters. Sentimental heartbreaking sequences where the opera singer is looping and the birds are singing backwards... until the breakdown of needles and chaos is taking over. Cut up and mistreated records looping and creaking from dust and sloppy treatment. Pick-up`s being pushed disrespectfully over grooves. records spinning backwards and forwards while played from multible pick-ups simultaniously. Meanwhile the lady in stilletoes just keep on walking down the stairs. Repetitive arrangements, dark sounds, neck breaking mixes, film-amateur sound effects, scratches, quieks, vinyls, terror and horror."

  2. HANS TAMMEN | Guitar-Controlled Live Sound Processing

Hans Tammen will perform "I hate Zero Crossings", a work that exhibits nonlinear feedback strategies to occasional create chaotic sonic behaviors. This feedback loop can go on for a while, and the performer occasionally interferes with the balance of power to give it a new direction, until at the end, as usual, that balance gets out of control.
Current projects sometimes use sound input from other players to be processed, but the live sound processing is still controlled by guitar sounds.

  3. ZEGER VANDENBUSSCHE (BE) | Saxophone & bass clarinet
Zeger studied philosophy at the university of Gent and Sevilla and saxophone at the royal conservatory of Gent, Belgium. Being an active member of the Belgian jazz and improvisational music scene, he toured in Belgium, Holland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, playing reed instruments and double bass.

Zeger claims to be musically influenced by the sound of spinning neutrons, multiplying cells, sunbeams penetrating the atmosphere, but considering the frequency range of the humanoid ear, that’s highly unlikely. Attracted by the thriving population of skylarks in Flughafen Tempelhof he recently relocated to Berlin.

  4. ELS VANDEWEYER (BE) | Vibraphone

Els Vandeweyer is a Belgian vibraphonist & composer currently living in Berlin. In Portugal she co-founded the IMI Kollektief quintet. In Oslo she worked with Ingebrigt Haaker Flaten and Paal Nilssen-Love. In Chicago performing by invitation with Ken Vandermark among many others.

With her new repertory of compositions, combined with improvisations, Els can bring you in a remarkable sound world, far removed from that associated with a vibraphone. The result is rather flowing and energetic than abstract.

"Unafraid of tradition... Vandeweyer's vibes evoking the experimental zeal of the more adventurous 1960's Prestige and Blue Note sessions." – All About Jazz.
