We have a very strange economy: Whatever is good for you, and whatever is good for the environment, is expensive and therefore it's subsidized with taxpayers' money.
And whatever is bad for you and bad for the environment is cheap. We have got to admit that there is something wrong with this economy, because if that is the way that we are going to respond to the basic needs of everyone, we are going to fail on every single count. And only the rich will be able to afford it because they made money on exploiting the others, with the bad stuff. So therefore say this is not about the good and the bad. The green economy is probably the best we could imagine since the 70s. But now we need to go beyond it, because we need to know how we can innovate so we can respond to all the basic needs with what we have. So that the best is cheap and the indispensable, like commons products, are for free.
