To celebrate the final month of the channel's marketing campaign "Manesia" client Foton supplied a Tunland ute to award to one manly viewer. Viewers were encouraged to upload a photo or video showing how their favourite A&E show helped them to overcome Manesia. Foton was incorporated extensively in the on-air spot, the A&E website and entry page on Facebook.
In celebration of Season 4 Game of Thrones, Tourism Ireland and Showcase provided an opportunity for a Foxtel subscriber to Win An Amazing Trip To Northern Ireland (valued at $10,000). It was a perfect consumer promotion as it highlighted the Game of Thrones destinations within Northern Ireland. The entry question related back to Game of Thrones territory and filming destinations across Northern Ireland.
The competition spot consisted of footage from real Northern Ireland and Game of Thrones locations used from the series. Record ratings ensured high exposure of the competition spot which was aligned to all Game of Thrones episodes and beyond.
To compliment their sponsorship of the American Music Awards, Disney ran a successful competition to promote the release of one of the year's biggest films. The competition spot created by FOX8 drove viewers to the online entry page.
