Crazy driving or “al-Tafhit” is a popular pastime for the youngsters in Arab countries, especially in the Persian Gulf. But this phenomenon has caused a lot of pain and grief for some families, where the hobby has resulted in serious injury or death.
But fans continue to take part in extreme driving, despite the danger and the fact they are breaking the law. They see their driving skills as an art form.
My Journey Towards a Double Transplant | By Micah Evans
Hello, my name is Micah Evans. Three years ago I was diagnosed with kidney disease and only a year later my kidneys finally gave up resulting in total renal failure. This, of course, meant immediate ongoing dialysis treatments and the need for a kidney transplant. My kidney disease is primarily due from battling diabetes for the past 31 years of my life. My doctors at OHSU (Oregon Health and Sciences University) have recommended me for a kidney / pancreas (SPK) double transplant. This double transplant will help ensure that the donated kidney has a better chance of survival and the ability to last longer.
The dream of having a life-saving double transplant means everything to me. It means a longer, healthier life with my family. This necessary procedure will not only transform my life, but also the life of my family. I have three wonderful little boys, Brayden, age 10, Silas, age 7 and Cohen, age 4 whom I raise with my beautiful wife of 16 years, Miranda. This song details what parents may go through with a child who has life long health issues.
I’m sure you can agree that it can be difficult to find places to live. It is even more of a challenge when you receive a call telling you to immediately head to the hospital for an operation and you need a place to stay at extremely short notice. Hotels or motels are the only real options for an extended stay that would be readily available on such short notice. This living situation is also the most expensive part of this whole life-saving endeavor. Currently, I have a goal of $15,000 to cover the cost of living in the Portland, Oregon area. These funds will also be used to maintain my current household obligations including t he previously mentioned child care, co-pays, medications, food costs and transportation needed to make this a successful life-saving experience.
I want nothing more in the world than to have the opportunity to age with my lovely wife and continue to raise our three precious boys. I want to be there for each one of them helping them grow, learn and develop.
Please, consider my situation and help my journey to having this life-saving double transplant if you are able to. My life and my ability to be there for my family in the future depends on this procedure. Your help is our hope!

On 20 Jul 2013 my family entered the Linn Conty Fair Car Show in the Park. We entered my 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7, my wife Kathy's 1976 Mercedes 450 SL (107 body), and my son, Alex, entered my 2009 Dodge Charger Super Bee (no. 90 of 425). We did not take any awards home, but had a good time. Enjoy and God Bless, Andrew
This video is about how a good diet and alternative medicine specifically seeing a Naturopath and Chiropractor and a modified paleo diet (allowing dairy and some non-gluten grains) have made an amazing difference in her energy level and overall well being.
