***DISCLAIMER: There is footage in this video of climbing in the rain. Since the making of this video, we have learned Red Rock sandstone is very soft and susceptible to breakage when wet. It should be noted that we do not condone climbing in the rain, and suggest giving the rock two days to dry out before climbing.***

Push It is the story of distinctly average climbers Jackie Sequeira and I preparing for our first ever big wall - Yosemite's El Capitan. Totally out of our depth from start to finish, I visit some of my climbing heroines for inspiration along the way, including Mina Leslie-Wujastyk, Natalie Berry and Vicki Mayes. Rough and ready, full of honesty and humour, this is a story of two underdogs chasing adventure to the very edge of their wits and limits. Winner of The People's Choice Award at Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival and Wildest Adventure at No Man's Land Film Festival.
Black Diamond athletes Daniel Jung and Nico and Olivier Favresse are always on the hunt for first ascents, and their most recent search led them to Norway where they found a stunning, overhanging wall laced with cracks. The trio's FA pursuit involved skin-shredding jams, mega whippers, and daily shenanigans, including scooter jumping and swapping tooth-brushing tips.
This is video is part of our Climbing 2013 digital catalog. Through photos, videos and narrated slideshows, the Climbing 2013 digital catalog highlights first ascents and first free ascents from recent years, as well as the crucial pieces of Black Diamond gear that helped make them a reality. In addition, the digital catalog showcases historical images from past first ascents—chosen by our athletes—that have fueled their own personal FA pursuits. Located in the heart of the Patagonian pampas, in Argentina's Chubut province, Piedra Parada's monolith rises up from the surrounding desert. Lying just to the north, the majestic La Buitrera Canyon was home to the Petzl RocTrip in November 2012. For more than a week, climbers from all over the world came together to share a common passion: climbing. Thanks to the hard work of a team of Argentinean and international route developers, La Buitrera Canyon, 5 km long with towering cliffs up to 200m high, is now one of Argentina's major climbing spots. For the tenth edition of the Petzl RocTrip, more than 1500 people climbed in the wind, dust, heat, and cold, for an unforgettable Patagonian experience!
