1. This is the new HD version with its full musical final of the clip "Total Lunar Eclipse on February 20, 2008 at 07:35 PM EST.". It has been remastered with pictures in TIFF format into Final Cut Express while the old version was originally done in iMovie HD and pictures converted to QuickDraw format by the software itself.

Contrast have been added to increase the clarity of the Lunar craters and formations. All timing has been fine tuned for better quality of the transitions and feeling of the blow. The new master output is in 1920x1080 resolution. Unfortunately, VIMEO downscale it to 1280x720 but the final quality of this new master is really impressive compared to the first version.

29 pictures every 5 minutes with the Canon EOS Digital Rebel and William Optics FLT 110 Triplet APO.
    Retouched and aligned in "Gimp".

  4. Each mornings of January and February, when I am walking to the subway, I could see the Sun above this Church.

Four years ago, I decided to try to capture it, but the timing was particularly hard to figure out. I had to take a picture of the Church including the Sun, then integrate the picture into the "Starry Night Pro Plus" software in order to plan the moment when the Sun would pass behind the Bell Towers Church. The sunrise was at 7:17AM this January 31, 2008.
