site specific video installation in an old harbor warehouse in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki, March 2013
trailer 5 min
The installation consists of three videos in monitors distributed in the gallery space. Two of the videos show a hand scratching an image on a white surface to reveal the view behind it. The work advances slowly and it is difficult to see what is behind the painted surface. The third video shows the movement of light in the harbor during several days filmed through the viewfinder made by scratching. The light reveals a large warehouse, a ship and cranes.

site specific installation in an old industrial building in Suvilahti, Helsinki, November 2012
(trailer 4 min)
The installation consists of a video projection in a small hallway and a room opening at the end of a short corridor. In the video hands are taping outlines to different objects seen from a widow: street lights, a parasol, chimneys. Upon entering the room the viewer notices that the video has been shot from this particular room. The windows of the room are entirely covered with small pieces of masking tape except for the apertures used in filming the video.
