A short film for the Small Steps Project, a humanitarian charity, dedicated to supporting children who live on rubbish dumps around the world and who survive from scavenging waste. We provide the children with protective shoes, aid, medical care and hygiene kits then help them take their first small steps out of poverty. Small Steps is a collective of people who donate their skills to help make a change. This short was edited by Azhur Saleem, using footage by Tom Rowsell and Amy Hanson from the documentary Small Steps: Cambodia, directed by Amy Hanson. Additional footage was shot by Simon Lohmeyer for the next documentary...coming soon.
