1. BARCELONA in Flow Motion - A fast moving short film....
Gold prize winner at Timelapse Showfest 2014

In few other cities is it possible to walk from spectacular location to spectacular location. I had a fantastic time adventuring around Barcelona's winding streets making this film.

Special thanks to Ferran Macià Edo and his colleagues from Agència Catalana de Turisme (Catalan Tourism Board) for helping me get access to shoot at numerous stunning locations including:

    Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya
    Gran Teater del Liceu
    Sagrada Familia
    Museu D'Historia De Barcelona
    Palau de la Música
    Santa Maria del Pi

And an extra special thanks to Marta Garriga Bardalet for patiently modelling during an uncharacteristically cold and rainy day.

    My time in numbers:
    363 hours work
    75 Hours Logistics and Travel
31 Hours Scouting and Location Finding

  2. London, UK, based The Projection Studio has delivered a spectacular and eye-catching new monumental video projection show to help celebrate the ‘Winter In Venice’ Festival at the world famous Venetian resort in Las Vegas.

Led by Ross Ashton, the Projection Studio has also created a series of works for a permanent video son et lumière extravaganza which was launched in summer and is being show nightly, year round. The colourful, vibrant giant images are projected on to a 25 x 25 metre canvass forming part of the Venetian’s frontage including a full scale replica of the famous Clock Tower from St Mark’s square in Venice.

With the video control room being over 200 meters from the projection surface, d3 worked particularly well as it allowed the operator to use a remote laptop to program the installation from the projection tower with a full GUI and total control over the whole installation. The 4 projectors were run by 3x d3 4U v2.0's.
