Brief: Create a short animation (No more than 90 seconds) that will capture the imagination of 8-14-year-olds, taking the bizarre, wonderful, non-existent existence of the black hole as your starting point.
I remember finding science at school very boring and thinking there were other fun ways to learn about the subject. For my animation I decided to bring these hopes to life by creating a science world of my own.
I used the influence of the black hole to have the boy sucked into a test-tube where he would be transported into a fun new way of learning in my creation of a science world. There he would by pass various elements of science, including photosynthesis, reproduction, kinetic energy, and gravity.
This is a teaser trailer created to promote the soon to be released documented film based on Jean-Michel Basquiat. The trailer is an animated, visual interpretation of an interview with Jean-Michel from 1987. For old and new Basquiat fans.. I hope you enjoy!
