1. In this quick video tip for Blender 2.5 we take a look at how to use the Boolean modifier effectively. The default behavior of the modifier tends to leave messy meshes that can be troublesome, using just a couple of quick techniques the end result is quickly improved.

  2. Motion capture (mocap) files are recordings of the motion of real humans which can be attached to character skins in 3D animation programs such as Blender. In this 11 minute silent video I import a BVH motion capture file and attach it to the 'Biped' rig made available free of charge by Nathan Vegdahl ('Cessen').

  4. Preview rendering can greatly speed up your workflow by allowing you to preview your scene within the viewport, from any angle and at low resolution as opposed to rendering the full scene anytime you check your progress.

  5. Blender tutorial showing one method for modelling convincing clothing. The final result will not have a cloth simulator applied to it, but I use the cloth simulator to help model convincing wrinkles.

Most of this tutorial uses Blender 2.53 Beta, but there is one point where I have to switch back over to 2.49b to run a script that hasn't been updated yet.

This is my first video tutorial, so please let me know what you think. There is certainly a learning curve to making these, so please bear with the small issues!
