Just compiled together some of my film-making experiences with an intention to assist the very beginners take their first steps into this domain. This video discusses the planning and shooting aspects of movies being made with phone-cameras, digicams and handycams and I plan to compile another video soon that talks about video-editing basics for beginners as well as editing on home-computers with simple software. Here's our attempt at making a simple music video. There's an intro to the whole concept in the beginning, followed by the actual music-video that got created in the process. This is followed by a sequence of shots captured during the making of this video, and finally a few glimpses of the editing project. We used a very simple setup to create the same and just wanted to share with everyone the process of how we went about it. Here's a video blog of our walk across the LODHI GARDENS, New Delhi, India. The film showcases the various historical monuments located at the garden with the walk-leader explaining the architecture and also the history of the Lodhi and Syyed Dynasties (Sayyid Dynasty) and the British rule in India. The monuments/places of interest showcased in this video are as follows - Mohammad Shah Sayyid's Tomb, Khaerpur village, Sikander Lodhi's Tomb, Sheesh Gumbad, Bada Gumbad (The Big Dome), Bada Gumbad Masjid (The Big Dome Mosque), Butterfly conservatory, other Architectural works of the Sayyids and Lodhis from the 15th century.
