1. Everything is done in Houdini, except for the comp work, including modeling, texturing, dynamics, etc. The main rigid body sim (done with bullet) is comprised of around 30,000 pieces. The pieces come apart based on a mix of painted and semi-randomized glue strength values. The secondary glass sim (also with bullet) looks at each respective window frame to determine if the glass should shatter or remain whole.
