Segment includes John Sebastian interviewing the late legendary jazz guitarist Les Paul during filming of founder Dan Terry's television pilot Treasured Instruments.
Austin Entertainment is a proposed new program all about the Austin Film, Music and Arts scene and personalities that work and play in this cuturally rich city. This example of what the show will be like includes musical performances (all shot by the cocreators both at the pilot shoot and around town), comedy sketches (with David Born & the AE Live Writer's Choir), and interviews with film, and arts personalities, including Spiderwood Studio's developer Tommy G. Warren, Texas Film Commissioner Bob Hudgins, and multimedia artist Jamie Panzer. The High Def shot pilot produced in partnership with Omega Broadcast Group and Dreamstream Productions is expecting to begin regular broadcasting on an Austin station and via post broadcast streaming on the internet in early 2011. Hosted and co-created by the lovely and charming Randi Potenzo. Cohosted, created, and produced by Dan Terry. Recorded in front of a live studio audience in Austin Texas.
This is the lower resolution version of the Austin Entertainment Live program sample from the test pilot shot late last year for computers with slower connections or processors. Featuring host/co-creator Randi Potenzo, and guests Tommy G. Warren, writer/producer and owner/developer of Spiderwood Studios, former Texas Film Commissioner Bob Hudgins, comedian David Born, and multimedia artist Jamie Panzer. Also shown briefly few of the many musical acts we've videotaped last year who will be among the guests when the show gets on the air are shown including John Pointer, Leigh Cates & his band, Paula Nelson, Will Taylor & Strings Attached, Kacy Crowley and many more. Enjoy.
