Yahshua was the pattern SON and He represented the way of His Father’s heart by referral. He only spoke and did what He heard and saw His Father saying and doing…
Note: The heart of a true ‘huios’ or (son) is to always do the things that are pleasing to the Father. That includes walking with those who are holding to the same living purpose. We all need elder brothers, sons, and friends who are properly related to fathers and mothers of the Faith.
Note: New believers and young disciples learn the way of the Father’s heart by following the example of those with whom they have a real and living relationship.
I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children. For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. Therefore, I exhort you, be imitators of me.
Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ. Now I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I delivered them to you. But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:1-3 NASB
Therefore, be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
Ephesians 5:1-2 NASB
“It is responsibility of every son to catch and embrace the FATHER’s Heart and Spirit in their lifetime.”
I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and the things which I heard from Him, these I speak to the world.” They did not realize that He had been speaking to them about the Father. So, Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me. And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.” As He spoke these things, many came to believe in Him. So, Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Hold fast and follow the pattern of wholesome and sound teaching which you have heard from me, in [all] the faith and love which are [for us] in Christ Jesus. Guard and keep [with the greatest care] the precious and excellently adapted [TRUTH] which has been entrusted [to you], by the [help of the] Holy Spirit (Who makes HIS home in US). 2 Timothy 1:13-14 AMPC
Question # 1: Why is it, that there are those of us who look at Newer Covenant admonitions concerning the last days or end times, that are taken from Older Covenant prophesies as something that is immutable or inevitable.
