1. While shooting the Pets of the Week video, we encountered a family adopting not one, but two animals from the Shelter. This family has a unique situation. Unfortunately, a family member is losing his sight and his eye doctor recommended that he find a seeing-eye dog and suggested "Buster." After an initial visit to the Shelter, the family has decided to adopt "Buster" who has a wonderful, loving personality and it is hoped that he will make a great companion. Then, it was love at first sight when Donna saw "Cindy-Lou" in the cage next to "Buster." That's what happens when you visit the Shelter, love at first sight. Check out Donna's wonderful adoption story, perhaps it will encourage you to find love at the Osceola County Animal Shelter.

  2. During the Month of May, we honor Marvelous Moms and remember our Military Heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country free. Through May 18th, you can adopt a dog or cat for only $20! Check out these pets:

Attention! Our little friend "Hero" would like to salute you! He is a most adorable 8 month old brown and black Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, most commonly known as a "Chi-Weenie!" "Hero" is a brave little puppy, who walks well on a leash, loves to run and play with toys, and will bark to let you know how he feels.
