A Western inspired film telling the story of a boy who stumbling upon a rifle takes it out with dire consequences. A reality bending paradox ensues threatening to send the boy into a groundhog day until he is willing to atone for his actions. Inspired by the lyrics to the song 'I Hung my Head' covered by Johnny Cash, originally by Sting.

Crossing the Plain is a project I have closely tied myself to for the best part of a year. I spent a great deal of time planning, recording and editing the sound for the film. Everything you hear has been built from the ground up, even the music, which was composed by my peer Zander Mavor. Every other aspect has been planned and executed by myself with guidance from the director, including self recording and mixing of gunshot and tinnitus effects.

  2. A Sci Fi short by Gordon Wilson. The story of a woman who travels back in time to stop the creation of an apocalyptic device responsible for the deaths of her entire family.

I worked as the Sound Recordist for this project during my second year of university. One of the earliest projects I have worked on in a professional manner. Also responsible for some of the shot listing. Filmed in Bristol at the Bottleyard and in Bower Ashton during 2012.
