People always ask me: “Do you think I´m ready to do an S.I.V. course?”
And I always give them the same answer: “Do you think it´s better to do a technical-driving-course after your first car accident, or before you lose control of your car?”
I know, one should never answer a question with another question, but I think in this case it explains everything. ;-) It´s just better to prevent situations that can result in an accident, and that´s what a S.I.V. course is for.
There is nothing to be afraid of – you will only go as far as you want, and as far as we are confident in your abilities – every training course is custom tailored to your skill level and ability.
The G-Force-Trainer is located in the center of Austria, close to the world famous Dachstein Glacier (the easternmost glacier in the Alps), about one hour drive from Salzburg.
It`s an incredibly modern and high-tech machine which allows pilots to experience real G-Force before they start practicing spirals in reality. The major safety advantage of this is to train pilots to recognize and cope with high G Force which may occur in spiral configurations. Some pilots may not be able to deal with normal G-Forces exerted in a spiral, and it is safer to train with this device first! If you experience negative effects such as dizziness, nausea, or grayout / blackout there is no risk.
In just one day of practicing on the G-Force-Trainer you can push your limits much higher than you think. Tougher pilots (or Acro-pilots ;-) can train up to 7Gs!!!
