1. If you say "Good Samaritan" to nearly anyone you meet--believer or non-believer--they know who you refer to. Interesting the phrase "Good Samaritan" doesn't actually exist in The Bible, but people down through the years have equated that name with anyone who is willing to show mercy in time of need. The parable of The Good Samaritan is recorded for us only in the Gospel of Luke in response to the question "And who is my neighbor?" This message was presented by Mike Standish, associate pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville, Ohio on May 12, 2013.

  2. As Believers in Jesus Christ, Christians everywhere are commanded to be salt and light in this present world of darkness. However, often we become complacent in our daily lives, looking for others that are like us. Looking for the "other" sheep of the fold is the challenge facing the Church here on earth because it is a priority with Jesus and the reason He came to earth over 2000 years ago. This message by Pastor Craig Miller, senior pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville, Ohio examines the illustration Jesus gave of The Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd ultimately gives his life for his sheep because that is the only way to protect all of his sheep from the ravages of the thieves and robbers that seek to kill and destroy. This message was presented May 19, 2013.

  3. The Apostle Paul, possibly the greatest missionary that ever lives, had to learn to leave his comfort zone and become "all things to all men that he might by all means save some. We who have been saved by the Lord Jesus Christ are commanded to reach out to those around us for whom Christ died also. This message was presented by Pastor Craig Miller, senior pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville, Ohio on May 26, 2013.

  4. The first evidence the Apostle Paul lists as part of the fruit of a spirit-empowered life is: love. The world searches desperately for it but can't find it. Song writers write songs about it but rarely can describe it beyond feeling. Only in the scriptures can you find love described as God intended for it to be in our lives. Love even spurred Him to humble Himself and be born so that He could die to pay the penalty for our sin. Craig Miller, senior pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville, Ohio describes this first aspect of the Fruit of The Spirit that should be present in those who trust Christ as Lord and Savior. This message was presented June 2, 2013.

  5. Joy. What is it? How to we get it? Can we get there on our own? Chris Miller, a member of Grace Baptist Church and a professor in the Bible department at Cedarville University, speaks on an aspect of the fruit of the spirit. He reminds us this, as well as the others listed can come only by the Holy Spirit working in our lives. This message was presented June 9, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville, Ohio.

Sometimes we as Believers in Jesus Christ can become centered on our Christian fellowship. We want to be around like-minded individuals and for our children to be influenced by them. If we have been Believers for many years, we may become isolated from non-believers as we strive to keep from the world and its influence for evil. This channel is a series of messages preached on evangelism and is designed to encourage all believers to have compassion on those who do not know Jesus as Lord and Savior.
