  2. This is a technology-art-academic collaboration based on the 6th grade history of Egypt created by music teacher David Laks. In this video he animated the art work of the 6th grade students who made life-size Egyptian sarcophagi of ancient Kings and Queens of the Nile under the leardership of art teacher Roberta Ziemba. The students studied about the culture and history of ancient Egypt with their 6th grade teaching team. Student research and voices were used in the making of this film.

The Bennett Intermediate School 5th grade "Project Based Learning" team connected with the world famous Preservation Hall Jazz Band and arranged a student interview/press-conference on a Sunday morning in November, 2013. This took place at the hotel that the band was staying at while performing in our local area.

    What an exciting event for all that attended!
