1. This video was made to animate a story a fellow pastor wanted to use as an illustration for his message. It took over 500 pictures and over 30 hours to make, but I'm really happy with the outcome. The narrator (Rick Palm) is my dad, and I love listening to his voice. I find it very soothing and yet very dramatic.

    Franklin, a clumsy deckhand on the pirate ship "Dimensional", receives an unexpected promotion.

    Some late night inspiration turned into an afternoon of hastily scribbled storyboards and 200+ pictures as I crafted my first ever stop-motion short. The excitement of flipping through the frames on the camera was palpable, as I realized "It's working!" While there are some things I would certainly change (mainly the complete lack of deep focus), overall I'm proud of my first try at stop-motion animation.
