This animation showcases my BMW K1300S digital model created from scratch in Solidworks with surface modelling completed in Autodesk Alias Automotive. The animation was created in 3DS Max using MassFX curtains and particle animated smoke.
An animation of my final design alterations proposal for a second-year degree project at the University of Huddersfield. The live project with Reforma - an automotive customisation company - set a brief of designing cosmetic alterations for the vehicle, paying copious attention to brand character and attention to detail.
The Oakley Lumbar is a response to the 30% of cyclists who suffer from overuse injuries that complain of back pain. Research indicated that incorrect cycling posture was to blame, the Oakley Lumbar activates the transverse abdominis muscles in the lower back to support proper cycling posture.
Problems with cycle security were also recognised inclusion of a cycle security mechanism allows the Lumbar to secure the bike at the destination, removing the need to carry a bicycle lock on the journey.
