2nd Chance Outreach Ministries: CJ Orndorff
For 19 years, 2nd Chance outreach ministries has been connected with state and federal prisons to forge long-lasting relationships throughout the prison system. Armed with the incredible power of music, their efforts are two-fold: to offer inmates a face-to-face appointment with God, that leads them to salvation, and secondly, to exhort, encourage, and edify existing believers who live out their faith in an incredibly dark environment. 2nd Chance not only provides worship for us here regularly at NCCC but is constantly “reconnecting” with the often “forgotten and discarded” of our society. Band leader, C.J. says, “It is my honor that God would use us as He does,” and reminds us that Hebrews 13 exhorts us to “remember those in prison as if you were there yourself...”

Christian Surfing Federation: John Lindsley
John Lindsley and Trevor Kendall began The Christian Surfing Federation with the vision of bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to this nation's surfers. These surfers desire to see lives changed by the power of God- through meaningful friendships, surfers' Bible studies, local CSF chapters and outreach events. The CSF currently offers specialized resources, leadership training, mentoring, and a network of accountability. CSF also holds hosts events such as a high profile contest series and an intensive surf coaching program. The unique vision of this team casts an opportunity for involvement in a community of passionate surfers looking to form and deepen their faith.
