An old animation short-film I made in 2009, and also the first one I ever made. It was created as part of a school assignment when I studied 3d design and animation at Noroff University College in Oslo.
Everything you see was created and animated in 3d Studio Max by me, except for the rig (guy), which was created by Sebastian Antonsen.
Everything you hear is created by my good friend Alrik Fallet. If you like his work, check out his YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/OneCamBand
In this short documentary film, you meet Svein Olav Lien. Svein Olav is the protagonist and the overall storyteller when he brings the audience into a regular day for him, as he faces the challenges and responsibilities he has as a farmer and a skier. Svein Olav also has a close friend whose name is Gøran Høyvik Ulltang. Gøran is a friend that he shares many memories, experiences and adventures with. They have a very special friendship and they travel all around the world together. They are both working and living together, but most importantly they are both freestyle skiing and snowboard athletes, which they dedicate most of their lives to.
WINNER - Best Documentary, Caroline Stone Award 2013.
