The idea behind JukeRock is taking an experience of a climber and enriching it in a way that it can attract people to the sport of climbing. Climbing is not the kind of sport people are introduced to in their daily lives; it requires a certain structure to climb on. Moreover, even if there is a climbing wall on display for people to try; it requires some attraction to get people into trying. JukeRock offers the attraction needed by employing interactivity through music and sound. The spaces for possible displays of JukeRock can be sports related areas; but extending the context to festivals and music-related organizations can help accessing a larger and more diverse group of users.
What is it?
JukeRock is an interactive climbing wall where the climber's movements are mapped onto different sounds and tones. As the user climbs and moves around the wall, his path creates different structures of music. JukeRock has three game modes for exploring and playing with the wall: Wall Piano, Path Flow and Rhythm Loop. Each of the games has different sound and time structures; therefore, each path a user follows can create different musical results depending on the game mode and the user's abilities. Experiencing climbing through these games can engage the user and in the future evoke sympathy and demand for climbing.

Although in-car technologies have rapidly expanded to include more features, from enhanced navigation to social integration and ecologic awareness, the dialogue between the car and its users has stayed almost the same.
Based on and inspired by the strong character of Alfa Romeo values, EGO App tries to suggest a new dialogue by building up three identities for the Alfisti and their Alfa Romeos: Social, an Alfa to attract people for becoming a social hub; Traveler, a travel companion to remember and share; and Eco, a sensitive Alfa to suggest and improve awareness.
Through game-like modality and awards, Alfa EGO not only manages to strongly communicate Alfa Romeo brand to more people, but also opens up new paths of partnerships that can expand the brand into new domains.
Cities are kind of museums - filled with stories and memories associated with different spots and places. They add a living personality to the barren cityscape. Perk It Up is an application for tablet devices which enables these secrets to be embedded on to the physical space and be shared. Users of Perk It Up can create their own stories on location, attaching audio recordings, images, text or video. While, if walking through the city, stories added by other users perk and unfold, allowing users to create their own vision of the city. Depending on the user, these visions will have different materialization making each collection unique and special.
We made this prototype under the guidance of Massimo Banzi. It works as a scale, which counts 2 selected words being used in Twitter, any word that you choose. For example, we used "love" and "hate", so every time someone tweets with those words, it will show on the scale, so you can observe the nature of language being used as well as trends of what people tweet about.
Music is from the Machinarium soundtrack by Tomar Davok.
