The story of six California natives meeting in San Diego and driving to Cabo San Lucas and back while enjoying the lifestyle along the way. The Crew is comprised of six close friends from all over The Golden State. Although they are in their 30's and all have jobs, they've managed to put together a decade of unique trips throughout the globe. South is a grassroots story of friends getting together and making things happen.
Native Californians Greg Stahl, Curtis Major and Brett Holman consider Baja to be a second home and regularly explore some of the classic and lesser known destinations throughout the peninsula. These trips are about a core group of great friends who seek out the road less traveled.

On October 11, 2011 Photographer Brett Holman was involved in a motorcycle accident near Santa Barbara, California. He was flown out by helicopter and had to leave his motorcycle in the backcountry. The Santa Barbara Search & Rescue team along with his friend Greg Stahl went in the following day to make minor repairs and recover his motorcycle.
Brett Holman is an avid outdoorsmen constantly on the move searching for great photo opportunities everywhere he goes. 'On the Move' is a quick peek at Brett in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California.
I've fallen in love with farming. I think the reason I like farming is because it requires you to pay attention to the laws of nature, being able to see the sun rise and set and it demands hard work. I brought my camera along for the day and filmed what caught my eye during the alfalfa harvest. It was fun to see what I could produce with one camera, two lenses and a junky tripod. I'm going to continue to work on this project and more importantly enjoy being on the farm.
Much thanks to Timberlane Farms and the Stuart family for allowing me to film whatever I wanted.
