With super kamiokande LED sphere, 6 axis robot and accompanying app
A chromium-plated robot is located in the center of a geodesic sphere made up of LEDs which serves the robot as a drawing stage. The robot reflects the illumination effects, resulting in a magnificent light display. Through its choreographed movements and visitors’ touch gestures, the robot shows technical features of the new BMW “M5”. When MUTABOR was conceptualizing this exhibit, they were sure they wanted to work with MESO on the digital and technical part.
On behalf of MKT AG MESO Digital Interiors realized the interactive counter "Style is all over" after the concept of our partner Hielscher Lungershausen Design GmbH to introduce MINI´s latest style features to its fans at Autmobilsalon Geneva 2011.
In a drawer under the counter several model cars were placed ready to be touched by the visitors. Both, model cars and hands, were tracked by a camera and projected on the counters surface. Each model car was related to a different style feature, e.g. interior material and exterior style. By touching the different model cars under the counter the visitors were introduced to the various style features of MINI that were layered on the projection of model car and visitors hand on the counters surface.
To highlite BMW’s engeneering competence we have developed four robotic exhibits, each one presenting a particular engine type.
In order to underline the sophisticated balance of Efficiency and Dynamics we introduced a scale where the robot places different objects. In addition the robot shows the various engine parts which are responsible for the high efficiency and solid dynamics.

With Interactive sculpture for international automotive A-fair.
We realized and developed an interactive, robotic sculpture to feature the available BMW Individual material combinations at the IAA 2011. We developed a touchscreen terminal, where users can browse, filter, and choose from the multitude of BMW Individual material combinations, which are sorted and presented by a robot located in the center of the gleaming sculpture.
