His message for the diocese is about all the transitions taking place, both personally for him and Dana, as well as for the diocese.
The Consecration of the Rev. Whayne M. Hougland, Jr. as the 9th Bishop of the Diocese of Western Michigan will take place at the Van Noord Arena on the campus of Calvin College at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
The liturgical year is coming to a close this Sunday, and Bishop Hougland talks about the martyr Edmund of East Anglia, while also addressing upcoming Christ the King Sunday and the beginning of the new liturgical year with Advent.
