Health care facilities can be confusing and overwhelming to patients and guests. Often times, they have never been to the hospital or office building and don’t know where to go. Patients and guests should not be passed by without being asked if they need help. It is up to every team member to offer assistance and make sure needs have been met.
All patients have needs. By asking “Is there anything else I can do for you? I have the time.” at the end of every encounter, Community team members are anticipating needs and reducing patient anxiety.
