Presented by Judith Wright Centre and Lucid Dance Theatre, March 2013
Drawing inspiration from Johann Sebastian Bach’s evocative Cello Suites, this contemporary ballet work weaves a thread through the emotional, artful and mysterious life of the celebrated composer.
Choreographed by Louise Deleur, Dancing with Bach captivates through the richness of the live cello and the intimacy between the dancers and internationally-renowned Baroque cellist Louise King.

The Fabulous Dame Farrar's Dazzling Display of Stupendous Acts For The Stage is an outrageous tour de force performed by singer and comedienne, Carita Farrer Spencer together with brilliant Australian jazz musician and composer John Rogers and Cirque du Soleil's amazing contortionist, Liu Jie.
This show celebrates the glory and disaster of Dame Farrar, a superbly talented vaudevillian performer and a disgraceful lush. Joined by her meek Chinese stagehand (and contortionist), and a cross dressing musical accompanist, this hysterical comedy quickly descends into a camp and hilariously perverse outrage. The presenter may also choose for the show to contain a short feature spot by a quirky or unusual local guest performer each night.
Presented at Hothouse Theatre, March 2013, this show has received standing ovations and rave reviews. To discuss presentation at your venue or festival, please contact:
