What do the contents of your pockets say about you? Filmmaker James Lees asks Londoners to share what they're carrying in their pockets. From tiny treasures to the downright bizarre, their answers provide quick and charming social insight.
Pockets was one of four short films we produced for Channel 4 and BRITDOC which brought together filmmakers and musicians/composers to make a short documentary inspired by a piece of their music.
The films premiered at BRITDOC 2008 and screened on Channel 4.
Pockets also screened in Official Selection at Los Angeles Film Festival, Hot Docs, SXSW, Silverdocs, Seattle International Film Festival, Telluride Mountainfilm Festival, CMJ Film Festival, Cork International Film Festival, SEE Brighton Documentary Film Festival, NPA Short Film Awards and over 30 others around the world.
