This is a training video I made as part of a group assignment at Temple's Student Center for employee training in 2009. From start to finish, we completed this project in just under 5 hours.
We had to find a way to fit an entire training session into a short 5-minute video for future training materials. I had worked on a similar project in high school, where I made a documentary akin to How It's Made (Discovery/Science Channel). I worked at an AMC theater in my hometown, and we were able to have a camera crew follow me through the projection booth, as I explain each step to performing a job there. Afterwards, we edited it together and submitted to the West Chester Film Festival where it won an award for best student film and best documentary.
From that project I used the same techniques and advice, and we were able to complete this project on time, and have it look pretty good.
