Hello – CC with The Feed here. As some of you know, we’ve been previewing the Tulisoma South Dallas Book Fair and Arts Festival. The two day event promotes literacy and highlights businesses and arts in South Dallas. Last week, we met with featured author… Ms. Pearline Johnson. We are deeply saddened to find out that days after the interview Ms. Pearline passed away. Ms. Pearline was a local artist, who was about to debut her first book at the Tulisoma Book Fair.

Hello – CC with The FEED here. We are doing something a little different this week as we preview a Dallas Library signature event. Tulisoma South Dallas Book Fair and Arts Festival is a two day event that attracts nationally known authors, poets and artists. It’s all happening August 30th and 31st at Fair Park.
Great news this month for the Dallas City Performance Hall. The Theatre was named best performing arts venue in Dallas by the editors of D Magazine. We hope you’ll experience this wonderful facility for yourself. We’re going to tell you about a couple of opportunities on this week’s Art & Culture Update on The FEED.
