This is CC with the Feed. October was a busy month for the arts in Dallas! The city-wide Nasher Exchange unveiled 10 new installations at locations throughout the City.
“Moore to the Point” is a giant pink arrow installed on Dallas City Hall Plaza. It points to “The Dallas Piece,” an existing sculpture by Henry Moore. The arrow calls our attention to the piece, the barriers that once surrounded it, and the barriers that frame our encounters with art. “Moore to the Point” is the work of New York artist Rachel Harrison.
Hi I’m CC and this is “the feed.” The Dallas cultural centers are filled with great programming for the
Fall holidays. Many of the facilities are honoring the catholic tradition of Dia de los Muertos, or the
Day of the dead, which is celebrated in Latin America and other cultures throughout the world.
Hello, CC with “The FEED” here. Have you been wanting a vacation but don’t have the cash to make it happen? Well you may want to consider visiting our area cultural centers as we explore music and arts from around the world…
