Most of us suffer from message fatigue and we get that.

We all know we have to do our bit for the community and the environment but the list of overwhelming. When we think about our South West waterways, estuaries and ocean, we go back to the things we really care about.

We thought about doing something that really matters: Let’s protect one of our favourite south west icons, the Blue Swimmer Crab. Because if we protect our waterways. we'll all have more of them to catch and eat.

The priority of our first campaign from Home River Ocean is to ask everyone to wait until Spring to do their fertilising. Because crabs shouldn't be drowned in phosphorus and nitrates, they should be smothered in garlic butter.

Give it a crack! Help us find better water ways.
