The vast temple ruins of Angkor, Cambodia are majestic and magical, transporting you back to the time when the Khemer Empire was one of the most powerful in Asia. Built over hundreds of years starting in 802 A.D., most of the temple ruins have been taken over by tree roots and the dense jungle. The massive stone structures are an archaeological site that are open to the public and it is impossible to not be awed by the intricate carvings that cover most of the structures. Photos and videos cannot do justice to the grandiosity of the temples but I hope this video can give you a taste of the sites and sounds of this wonder of the world...
