Created for the Living Arts 24-hour video contest in Oklahoma, February 6-7, 2008. My son Jackson and his friend Bunee entered in the student category. I helped them with the story and shooting, but they were behind the camera too. Then the boys threw it into Final Cut and we edited like crazed rats, burned a DVD and turned it in about twenty minutes till midnight.

The way it worked was this: At midnight Friday, the contest sponsors announced the rules: 1) each movie had to include the line, "You press the button, we'll do the rest"; 2) each entry had to include a ball of twine as a prop. The theme for the project was "I'll be your mirror". Who knows what it means? Teams had 24 hours to write, shoot, edit and burn a copy of their film.
