Over the last few years, power&howe have been putting together an impressive range of shows and performance work - largely featured at the Southbank Centre at the larger venues. Various commissions for The Imagine Children's Festival and an interesting series reinterpreting Dvorak and Mussorgsky are some of the highlights, working with the likes of The Philharmonia and Award winning choreographers. Charles Hazlewood said of p&h;
"I worked with Ross and Laura recently on a project with the Philharmonia Orchestra and nearly 400 Southwark schoolchildren at the Royal Festival Hall, as part of the Southbank Centre Imagine Festival for Children. Out of extensive workshops with the children, they devised and created some utterly fantastic pieces of music acting as the gel between them and the Philharmonia; the music they brought to fruition was wonderfully infectious, widely varying in style, and a wonderful world in which both the kids and orchestra could shine. Their talents as orchestrators, melodists and dreamers of musical futures are enviable. This was the first time I worked with power&howe. It will not be the last."
