  3. planet5D writer Hugh Brownstone and a few of his Philadelphia film buds conduct a walk-off between the CAME-TV 7800 and the MoVI M5 in a 1/4" snow storm. This vid is much longer than our usual reviews because we wanted to give you a real feel for what it takes to balance these bad boys.

If you don't want to wade through all 17 or so minutes of it, here's the takeaway: if the M5 is the BMW of gimbals, the 7800 is the Hyundai --a low-priced alternative inspired by the original that offers a legitimate set of tradeoffs, and can definitely get you from point A to B.

We had fun, and learned a great deal - but clearly we still don't understand why we got that flicker from the C100 or how to correct it (it didn't show up on the 70D, 5D2 or a6000), and our sound work still has room for improvement (did I mention how much I hate leaf blowers -- especially when they're used for snow?).

    Enjoy!

  5. This video is intended for Ken Asano, but I thought others might benefit from it as well.

Ken Asano was nice enough to share his Nebula 4000 Lite profile settings with me.

If you get a chance and check out Ken's YouTube channel of him running around Tokyo with many different types of gimbals. He amazes me on how smooth his running shots are, that is why I ask for his settings.

    Ken's Channel:

Watch this amazing running video with the Nebula:

If it is OK with Ken I will share his two profile files for the Nebula on a future blog post.

How to add your Brushless Gimbals Video to our channel? Criteria: 1. Make sure your video shows you using the product. Not just someone walking and spinning around the subject. Think of it this way, If I was trying to sell you a camera and all I did was show images but never show the actual product in action and using it and talking about its use it won't help anyone.
