1. In October 2012 all AET Academies Student Councils were invited to take part in the first ever AET Student Council Conference. The event was hosted at Everest Community Academy and was a fantastic success.

    The day consisted of talks from motivational speakers and AET staff where the students were set various tasks to help improve their leadership and team skills.

  4. AET Officers recently migrated their emails and calendars from an MS Exchange Server to a a Google Apps for Education System. Ray Allen is a Google Apps Certified Deployment Specialist and in this video gives an introduction to using Google for its online productivity apps and an overview into how to use them effectively.

  5. As part of the Academies Enterprise Trust's Be Inspired programme, Chloe Rogers; Team GB Olympic hockey player has been visiting AET academies giving coaching sessions and talks inspiring students in all aspects of sports.

    This programme is part of the post London 2012 games sporting legacy campaign.
