On June 4th, 2013, Cameron proposed to Chelsea, his girlfriend of two years, with a surprise proposal in the company of all their friends. It was a warm summer night like any other, but yet, it was a night that would become unforgettable.
It was never a question of if Chris was going to propose to Adeena, only a matter of when. The real pressure cooker question for Chris was how. When the girl you love has been interning for one of the areas premiere wedding planners you can't just toss a ring on her finger one night at home and expect that to impress. There has to be details. There has to be preparation. There has to be event. How do you pull THAT off? You call the boss herself, Missy of Antonia Christianson Events.
When Chris and Missy approached me with their idea I knew immediately I wanted in. Little did I know how integral I would be to the surprise. It turned my current project of shooting the ACE promo video would be the perfect cover up and excuse to get Adeena into a salon with the camera in front of her getting herself all done up. Meanwhile the Sweetwater Cuisine team set up their main dining area for one table of two, serving a perfectly romantic meal after the proposal. The last surprise? James of Trivium Studios to snap the first pics of the newly engaged couple.
After that, it was all up to Chris. DId he buy the right ring? Did he say the right things? One look at the expression on Adeena's face should answer those questions and so much more. Adeena and Chris, here's to you two and your fun upcoming year of wedding planning!
In January we were contacted to videotape Ephraim's very public proposal to Breeana. The Wichita Bridal Expo draws about 1400 Brides shopping for services and ideas for their weddings. Breeana was attending with her sister, thinking she was just there to help with the planning of her sisters wedding. Little did she know that Ephraim had hatched a plan to propose and that family and friends were all in on it.
Ephraim was also helped by Perfect Touch Weddings, Ronni Johnston.
