This was the 3rd annual trip to the Finger Lakes region of NY state by Dodge Challenger owners who are members at Challengerforumz.com. The day started with a visit to the museums at the Central NY Living History Center in Cortland, NY. From there it was lunch at the Pier House Restaurant in Geneva, NY located on the north shore of Seneca Lake. Then it was on to visit a few wineries on the western side of the lake, followed by our laps on the track at The Glen with dinner in the Glen Club.
Our first of 3 sessions on the track. Think it was the 3rd session of the day. Drivers on the first two sessions weren't playing by the rules so the track slowed down the pace vehicle. I was driving with the missus riding shotgun. http://www.vettes4vets.org
Our second of 3 sessions on the track. Lisa was driving while I took camcorder video and pictures from the Sprint reviewing stand near the start/finish line She did well topping out at about 122MPH. http://www.vettes4vets.org
For her 50th birthday, Alisa wanted to drive a race car at Charlotte Motor Speedway. So that was her present along with one last Braves game at Turner Field before they move to their new digs in Cobb County in a couple of seasons.
